«Gay liberation is an important part of the struggle for socialism. The liberation of oppressed groups. like women, blacks and gays, must be part of the general struggle for socialism.

Discussions are held on women and blacks in the LPYS, but never on gays. Is it because the leadership thinks that the LPYS will lose support if it openly supports gay liberation?

The struggle for socialism isn't about compromising socialist ideas but about openly giving support to minorities on controversial issues and winning support that way.

This is what National Left Wing Youth Movement supporters believe and this is what we fight for.
