on the Youth March. saw opposition to the witch-hunt as an important part of the fight to force the Labour Party to get rid of Britain's nuclear weapons:

The Class Fighter position was answered by the Revolution. Youth/Socialist Challenge leadership : by pathetically arguing that the NEC won't support : the statement if it included opposition to the witchhunt. They also argued thát opposition to the witch-hunt might alienate the more liberal, less militant sections of YCND. Their argument seems to be a very strange one, coming from revolutionaries and is more characteristic of right wing reformists. It is the same argument being put forward by the witch-hunters in the Labour Party! In the end most of the Revolution Youth marchers rebelled and supported the Class Fighter amendment.
