Peter Tatchell defeated by press smears and rightwing Labour readers sabotage. YOUNG Socialists who want to see the Thatcher govern ment booted out will have been disappointed to see the miners vote against taking industrial action to save the TymawI/Lewis Mertlyr Colliery.
