With some of the pledges for the August Monthly Fund still finding their way to the office we are assured of this month's total of £600, with But as we have already pointed out, the impact of inflation on our costs has forced us to raise the monthly target to £750 starting this month.
If we are to achieve this target we will have to make an immediate effort to go out and persuade readers and supporters to give more money to the fund and at the same time find new sources of income. This drive to raise the extra money has got to start now if we are to have a chance of raising the new target by the end of the month.
