There is nothing for Irish workers, Catholic or Protestnat, in any peace talks with imperialism.

Yet the leadership of the anti-imperialist struggle-that is the leadership of the IRAstill offers no perspective beyond a continued guerrilla war with the army.

While we support the struggle to defeat British imperNEEDS ionstrators on the 1978 anti-ni it Three Mile Island.

It is obvious that isolated iccupations and protests (as in iny industry) cannot of them¡elves wrest control of this enerov source awav from the ¡tate.

A patient but principled political struggle must be fought nside the working class on the ollowing programme:

*No further work on nuclear eactors pending. a safe and ifficient method of disposal of :xisting and potential wastes.

*No further work on FBRs ind reprocessing plants until atety standards are acceptable o workers' committees, drawn rom all industries to assess afety aspects of nuclear power ‚enerators.

*No redundancies in the luclear industries-for work haring on full pay for workers inable to be transferred to" esearch work.

*For an increase in state pending on all aspects of mclear power research and soft' alternatives. i.e. solar, vave, fusion, under workers? ontrol.

•ill publication hamicois. • =22. ictims of past experimenis ialism we call for the t uilding of a Trotskyist party i n Ireland which can seek to bui d a movement based on the class as the means to break the British stranglehold.

*Troops out now. *Political status for Irish political prisoners.

*For an lrish workers' republic.
