With only five days to the end of the month we are still a long way short of our January Fund target of £850. So far we have only £414.15 towards that total, leaving us with a major struggle if we are to pull the situation around.
As we have been pointing out in recent issues of the paper we are not content just to accept the fact that we have been forced to make cutbacks in the size of Socialist Press. But if we are to restore these cuts then we must begin by raising the fund in full each month since we depend on this fund to sustain our paper.
While the response to our appeal to restore the cuts in our paper have been encouraging, we must press ahead with the monthly battle to raise our fund target.
