With the end of January now behind us we ended up over £300 short of the January fund target-mainly due to readers and supporters who had pledged money failing to get it to us by the end of the month. February is, of course, a short month and so a very determined effort is called for if we are to collect in the outstanding amount for January and raise the full £850 of the February Fund.

Not a moment should be lost in setting about this vital task. We need all this fund and then an extra £60 a month on top if we are to be able to begin restoring the cuts in the paper that we were forced to make at the beginning of the year.

That extra £60 a month would enable us to increase the ten-page issues to 12page issues ensuring that every issue of Socialist Press had twelve pages in it, while continuing to publish the Red Youth and Woman Worker papers supplements as well separate papers.
