›y Dale Ackroyd The campaign to defend the Bradford 12 is taking off. The '12' are 12 Bradford Asian youth charged with making 38 petrol bombs and storing them for use against the police.

But the group defending the prisoners, the July the 11th Action Committee, have pointed out a police conspiracy. No one has yet seen these petrol bombs. All the police evidence is based on 'confessions'. Confessions that the prisoners denounce as forced. They were not allowed to see a solicitor until half an hour before they came up in court, by that time most of them had been held for over 36 hours.
