in Dro Take a baw, Mr + The IRA is the organisation in Ireland who have been fighting to remove the British Army from their streets for the past decade. It won support from the Catholic population in the early '70's as being the one that was serious about protecting the republican areas from the Orange Loyalists. The Britise day o protect Catholic areas. But it soon became clear what they had been sent for. And keeping the peace had nothing to do with it.

The Army was sent to the North to prtect British interests there and maintain the existence of the six-county state. A statelet created by Britain when Ireland was partitioned in 1921.

There can be no peace in Ireland until that artificial statelet is done away with. That is what the IRA is committed to and that is: what Thatcher is so determined to prevent.

I can seethat we are a colon-: ial power holding down a colony' For this he was attacked in the bourgeios press as a supporter of the IRA, a "damn fool' and the most odious man in Britain"

But Ken Livingstone deserves our support. He was *the only person in the entire labour and trade union movement to come out against the hysterical anti-Trish. ravings of the media.

TheSun reckon they've found the most odious man in Britain. Well we've news for them, there's lots more "odious' people in Britain and Ireland who support getting the British troops| out of Ireland - and only some of them are Class Fighter supporters! recruiting offices to point out that it is not the answer to unemployment. Instead it could mean
